Spanish wasn't the first language I learned after Italian, but it was my first linguistic love. I know the methods that really help you remember words and understand how the language works. I lived in Spain for a year and a half, my partner is Spanish… I know the authentic Spanish people actually speak, not just the one you find in textbooks.

I use a clear, step-by-step approach that helps you remember words and structures naturally. Everything you learn is put straight into practice through conversation, building your language skills step by step, always tailored to your level and your interests.

Balance is key. We combine structured learning with natural conversation so you gain confidence and fluency in a practical way.

What an hour actually looks like

In every lesson we try to practise every side of the language: conversation, vocabulary, grammar, writing and listening.

We start by talking: five or ten minutes on how your week went, in Spanish. I take notes on what we say, so I do not have to interrupt and correct you while you are speaking — and at the same time it all stays in the lesson documents, in case you want to read it again.

The topics build on one another and follow your level, your goals and what you need. We start from a general theme and then develop it through theory and practice, so that you learn to communicate from the very first day. Using what you learn straight away matters to me: that is how it stays with you, and how you come to feel more and more sure of yourself in the language.

I prepare the documents we work with myself, and I choose the activities around what interests you. That way we can take a subject all the way through, language and culture together. I also like bringing other things in: interactive games, texts to read, videos and songs.

It matters a great deal to me to know what you are aiming for, how you are feeling along the way, and which methods work best for you. Everyone is different and every path is their own. I share the techniques that help me, and adapt them each time to the student in front of me.

Questions people ask me

How much does a lesson cost?

A single lesson is €39 and lasts an hour. You pay by card when you book — one lesson at a time or several together, whichever suits you. There's no subscription and no joining fee.

How do the lessons work?

One to one and online, always in the same Google Meet room — the link reaches you the moment you book. Everything we do together stays in your own area here on the site: documents, notes, audio, there whenever you want to go back over it.

What if I have to cancel?

You can cancel a lesson at no cost up to 24 hours before it starts — there's a button for it in your own area. If there's less time than that, write to me and we'll sort it out. It happens to everyone.

I am starting from zero. Is that a problem?

Not at all — plenty of my students start from nothing. The first lesson is for seeing where you are and what you need the language for, and I build everything from there. No two people follow the same path.

What if I do not understand an explanation?

I speak Italian, Spanish, German and English. So when an explanation in Spanish doesn't land, I give it to you in your own language and we go straight back. It's the thing my students mention most: knowing you can always ask takes the pressure off.

Do you teach children and teenagers?

Yes. Several of my students are still at school and come to catch up or to get a step ahead — usually it's a parent who books. If that's your case, tell me their age and what's going wrong at school, and I'll come to the first lesson already prepared.

How often should we have a lesson?

Once a week is where most people settle: you genuinely move forward without it taking over your week. People with a deadline take two; others come every fortnight. You book the lessons one at a time, so you can change the rhythm whenever your life changes.

Do I have to buy a book?

No need. I put the material together around what we're working on — texts, exercises, audio, whatever the topic asks for. After the lesson it all stays in your own area along with the notes, so there's nothing to buy and nothing to print.

I am not in Italy or Spain. Do the times still work?

Yes. On the booking page there's a list of time zones — pick yours and every free slot shows in your own time, so you book the hour you'll actually sit down at. I have students in several countries and the lesson is the same wherever you are.

Can you prepare me for an exam?

Yes — and the sooner you tell me, the better: once I know which exam and when, we work backwards from the date. That goes for school and university exams and for the Spanish certificates. I can't promise you a mark, but I can get you there knowing exactly what the paper looks like and having practised the parts where people usually lose points.

What if I need to stop for a while?

Then you stop, and that's that. There's no subscription and no package that expires: you pay for the lessons you book, and when you're ready you book the next one. Everything we've done is waiting in your own area, exactly where you left it.

How long before I can hold a conversation?

I won't give you a number, because it depends on where you start and how often we meet. What I can tell you is what I see: people who come once a week and give the language ten minutes on the other days are holding real conversations within a few months — simple ones, but real. Coming now and then and doing nothing in between is the long way round.
